Kid's Night: Special Program for Children & Families!

Presented March 18 at 8 p.m.
This is a delightful story about an average yellow star in search of planets of his own. Along the way, he meets other stars, learns what makes each star special, and discovers that stars can form clusters and galaxies. Eventually, Little Star finds his planets, and each planet is introduced with basic information about our solar system.

14th Annual Blue Ridge Mountain Adventure Race

  • Up to 100 co-ed teams of three (plus one support person) will run along the forested trails of the Chattahoochee National Forest, paddle on the Toccoa River and/or Lake Blue Ridge, mountain bike steep trails and complete mystery challenges along the way.
    • This year's race has a theme of "Art and Adventure," with the finish line in downtown Blue Ridge Park in front of The Art Center
  • New this year! A post-race party in the park, reception and meal for racers and support
    • So get your team ready to run, paddle, mountain bike and navigate in the beautiful North Georgia Mountains!
    • Online application is at www.adventureracega.com/application.pdf . Entry Fee of $300, no refunds after March 30. If cancelled before March 30, $200 will be returned.
      • Friday, April 8, 2011, registration and pre-race dinner will begin at 5 to 7 p.m. (four team members eat free). Mandatory pre-race briefing is at 7 p.m.
